Our Campaign Featured on BBC NW Tonight!
We are proud that Our Campaigns’ work to improve parking at Royal Oldham Hospital was featured on BBC North West Tonight, helping bring this important issue to the attention of viewers across the region.
Hospital parking is not a minor inconvenience, it affects patients arriving for urgent care, families visiting loved ones, and NHS staff finishing long and often exhausting shifts. The BBC’s coverage has helped shine a spotlight on the real-world impact that the current system is having on people in Oldham and beyond.
We would like to thank BBC North West Tonight for highlighting these concerns in a fair and responsible way. Public awareness is a vital part of achieving change, and this coverage represents an important step forward.
Our Campaigns remains committed to working constructively with:
- Royal Oldham Hospital
- Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust
- Oldham Council
- and all relevant stakeholders
Our aim is to secure both immediate improvements for patients and staff, and long-term solutions – including safer, fairer and more accessible parking that truly supports healthcare rather than adding to its pressures.
Together with the community and our partners, we will continue to push for the fair, safe and dignified hospital parking system that Oldham deserves.
