Our Campaigns was born out of numerous conversations with residents who felt frustrated, ignored and determined to see change. People told me their stories, shared their struggles and expressed a real desire to stand together and be heard. This platform was created to be that home for our movement, a place where residents can speak up, organise and campaign for positive change.
I’m Dr Zahid Chauhan OBE and I launched Our Campaigns because real change doesn’t come from one person – it comes from communities working side by side with those willing to act on their behalf. This is not my campaign; it’s our shared movement, driven by your experiences, your challenges and your hopes for a better future.
Across Oldham and beyond, people are facing real issues – hospital parking chaos, access to healthcare, housing concerns, cost-of-living pressures, community safety and more. Too often, residents feel powerless when decisions are made without them. Our Campaigns exists to change that.
